Wheelchair basketball is fun, inclusive and open to anyone….so come and join us at the Copper Box Arena to experience the fast-paced and challenging nature of one of the most popular Paralympic sports! The #SupportTheNext Trophy, expertly run by British Wheelchair Basketball, takes place on Wednesday 13 March 2024 and will feature several SportsAid ambassadors.
A six-person team costs just £795+VAT and includes top-level coaching, food, kit and equipment, photographs of the day and trophies and prizes up for grabs!

Sportswear is required and there are changing facilities available. Chairs and training will be provided by British Wheelchair Basketball. Remember you will receive a team t-shirt and gloves on the day!
Practice and Coaching
British Wheelchair Basketball will run a starter session and warm-up at the beginning to provide you with all the chair skills, tips and tactics you will need. No previous experience is required!
Teams
Teams consist of five people but we would suggest you have six players to allow for rotation/rest. There will be 18-20 teams which will allow for group matches and then knock-outs. Each team will experience a minimum of four 10-minute matches.
Refreshments
Refreshments and lunch will be provided. Water will be available throughout but it is thirsty work and worth bringing your own bottle too!
