Prudential has supported SportsAid since 2009 and now funds 48 London and south-east based athletes through the charity each year.
That support was extended in 2013 to also include a workshop for the athletes, offering valuable advice on media training and nutrition as well as mentoring support from Olympians and Paralympians.
This was followed in 2014 by the creation of a new fund for disability athletes and a new ‘buddy system’ to build a relationship between them and Prudential staff.
SportsAid continues to enjoy a thriving partnership with Prudential and hopes to see it develop and grow in the run-up to the next Olympic and Paralympic Games and beyond.
