Yorkshire region has consistently produced some of the UK's best talent. At the 2012 London Olympics, SportsAid helped five of GB's seven gold medallists from Yorkshire, and two thirds of the Yorkshire medal winners overall.
The charity has a great track record of developing partnerships with local organisations across the region, helping them to support Yorkshire's next generation of sporting talent.
In Yorkshire alone, SportsAid has made over £2.75m in awards to the region's talented emerging athletes. Former recipients include stars like Jessica Ennis-Hill, Luke Campbell and Tim Bresnan.
John Anthony Rogers is the chairman of SportsAid Yorkshire with David Gent, Chris Dix, Daniel McCormack and Jagdeep Singh all trustees of the charity.
