SportsAid athletes return 15 medals on opening day of Gold Coast 2018

The Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games action got underway today (5 April) as SportsAid athletes made their mark for Team England, Team Scotland and Team Wales. Seven gold, four silver and four bronze medals were won across gymnastics, cycling, swimming and triathlon. A real highlight was delivered by Ellie Robinson as she became Commonwealth champion in the S7 50m butterfly at just 16.
