Interview

How did you first get involved in your sport?

My friend wanted another girl to join the rowing club and both our parents had rowed before therefore she asked me if I could. Also at age 11, I was taller than the average girl therefore friends and family assumed I would be good at it.

What does a typical week look like for you?

Weights or ergo Monday-Thursday 17:15-18:30. Double session on the water on Saturday and Sunday morning.

What motivates you to continue in your sport?

My drive to excel in the sport and the friends I have at rowing make me want to be there all the time.

Who is your sporting hero and why?

I love Laura Trott as, even though she isn't a rower, she's always so positive about everything even when races don't go the way she wanted.

What do you do in your free time?

I don't have very much of it but it's normally spent doing homework or meeting up with school friends.
