The London Marathon course is set around the River Thames, starting in Blackheath and finishing at The Mall. SportsAid and the London Marathon have a long history together. Back in 1984, SportsAid, known then as the Sports Aid Foundation (SAF), was selected as the first official charity of the London Marathon and granted entry places to help with fundraising.
SportsAid has a limited amount of guaranteed places for the TCS London Marathon on Sunday 27 April 2025. You can apply to run for SportsAid by completing our application form.
