The London Marathon course is set around the River Thames, starting in Blackheath and finishing at The Mall. SportsAid and the London Marathon have a long history together. Back in 1984, SportsAid, known then as the Sports Aid Foundation (SAF), was selected as the first official charity of the London Marathon and granted entry places to help with fundraising.
SportsAid has a limited amount of guaranteed places for the TCS London Marathon on Sunday 21 April 2024. You can apply to run for SportsAid by completing our application form.
The fundraising target for individual runners is £2,000. Please get in touch with Jan Brown at email@example.com if you have any queries or to apply for a place.
Our TCS London Marathon package includes all of the following benefits:
Access to fundraising support, tips and ideas, as well as branded collateral and items to support any fundraising events. We’ll help you set up your fundraising page too.
Training guidance from experienced SportsAid alumni.
A free SportsAid running vest including iron on letters for the big day.
A designated contact at SportsAid to help with any questions you have along the way, and to support you all the way to the finishing line.
Cheer point on event day with our wonderful volunteers cheering you along the route and motivating you towards that finish line.
A post-race celebratory party close to the finish line where food and drink, a shower and massage are available.
