Governance
Linked to SportsAid is an unincorporated society - the Sports Aid Foundation Society. The Society's committee members are the same as the Board of Trustees. The Chair is Mike Westcott and the Secretary is Adam Joelson. All other trustees of SportsAid are ordinary committee members. The Society is currently dormant.

SportsAid is a recognised equal opportunities employer and positively encourages applications from suitably qualified and eligible candidates regardless of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, sexual orientation, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion, belief and gender. SportsAid has achieved the Preliminary Level of the Equality Standard for Sport.
In April 2017, the SportsAid Board of Trustees formally adopted a target of a minimum of 30% of each gender on its board. Furthermore, the board committed to progressing towards achieving gender parity and greater diversity on its board, including and not limited to ethnically diverse communities and disability. SportsAid’s Board Diversity Action Plan for 2017-18 can be downloaded here. Annual reports on progress against this plan will be published in future years.
