Adam is responsible for managing and developing the process of athlete nominations by the National Governing Bodies (NGBs) and the subsequent allocation of SportsAid awards. He joined the charity in 2019 and previously worked at British Swimming.
Alice returned to SportsAid in 2015 after leaving the charity in 2010 to work for the Youth Sport Trust. She delivers the Backing The Best programme on behalf of Sport England. She is also the Lead Safeguarding Officer for SportsAid.
Anna’s role is to develop new partnerships with companies and brands. She joined SportsAid in 2023 and has previously worked at various organisations across sport and the charity sector including Cystic Fibrosis Trust, StreetGames and ParalympicsGB.
Cassie joined SportsAid in 2023 and oversees the charity’s signature events, in addition to managing key partnerships to deliver impactful activations and foster strategic relationships. Cassie’s role involves shaping and supporting collaborations that resonate with SportsAid’s mission and objectives. She brings valuable experience from her recent work with UEFA Women’s EURO 2022 and The FA.
Jan joined the team in 2005 and works primarily on finance and administration for SportsAid and the Sport England Talented Athlete Scholarship Scheme (TASS). She is a Lead Equality Officer for SportsAid and helps support the delivery of events for the charity.
Jo leads on the Backing The Best Programme on behalf of Sport England. She joined SportsAid in 2023 having previously worked at The FA with the England Para Football Teams and the English Institute of Sport with a variety of Olympic and Paralympic sports.
Lizzie supports SportsAid’s corporate partners to maximise their relationship with the charity across areas such as programme funding, sponsorship, fundraising and employee engagement. She brings experience from roles at Battersea Dogs & Cats Home, LOCOG for the London 2012 Olympic Games and the Youth Sport Trust.
Serena is responsible for the charity’s fundraising strategy. She has two decades of experience leading business development teams in the private sector (Novartis, Eli Lilly) and the third sector (Breast Cancer Now, Frontline Aids) and substantial expertise in corporate partnerships and philanthropy as a consultant.
Tim has more than 25 years of experience of working in sports management. He joined SportsAid in 2004 after a long spell as Managing Director at Saracens Rugby Club. Tim's role is to lead the team and the charity in helping talented young sports people.
Toyin is responsible for overseeing the various communications to and from athletes, parents and guardians, and National Governing Bodies (NGBs), as well as supporting the delivery and allocation of SportsAid awards. She joined SportsAid in 2024 and has a master’s degree in Sport and Exercise Psychology.
