Working closely with the Head of Fundraising and Communications, the successful candidate will lead the development and delivery of SportsAid's Community Fundraising & Engagement strategy, helping to grow sustainable unrestricted income while creating exceptional supporter experiences.
The role will also provide strategic leadership for SportsAid's expanding alumni engagement programme, ensuring former SportsAid athletes remain connected through mentoring, advocacy, volunteering, storytelling and fundraising.
Alongside overseeing the charity's community fundraising portfolio, the successful candidate will develop new fundraising opportunities across schools, sports clubs, workplaces and local communities, expand SportsAid's challenge events programme and build lasting partnerships that inspire more people to support talented young athletes.
As part of the fundraising leadership team, the Senior Community Fundraising & Engagement Manager will play an important role in helping SportsAid deliver its long-term ambitions to build one of the UK's most engaged sporting communities and ensure talented athletes can fulfil their potential, whatever their background or financial circumstances.
The position is offered on either a full-time or 0.8 FTE basis, with home-based or hybrid working available and a salary of £50,000–£55,000 (pro rata for 0.8 FTE).
