Vacancy: National Awards Programme Officer at SportsAid

SportsAid is recruiting a National Awards Programme Officer to help deliver support to the next generation of British athletes.

This hybrid role offers the opportunity to play a key operational part in the administration of SportsAid’s National Awards programme, ensuring talented young sportspeople receive the recognition and resources they need at pivotal stages of their development.

The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues, partners and National Governing Bodies (NGBs) to provide a smooth, accurate and athlete-centred awards process.

The postholder will ensure a smooth, accurate and athlete-centred awards process and provide operational support across several areas of the charity’s work.

The role also incorporates selected athlete and parent liaison responsibilities, contributing to a positive, supportive experience for athletes engaging with SportsAid.

Reporting to the National Awards Programme Manager, the officer will coordinate the end-to-end awards process, from nomination through to final award.

The role also requires maintaining accurate data, supporting athlete profiles and responding to queries from athletes, families and partners.

This role offers a full-time equivalent (FTE) salary of £25,000–£30,000 per annum, depending on experience. For a 4-day working week, this equates to an actual salary of approximately £20,000–£24,000 (pro rata). This is a permanent contract.
