Entain

Partner since 2018

We are proud to be supporting the next generation of British sports-people through our ongoing partnership with SportsAid. The past year has been an especially challenging period for sports people who have had their ability to train and compete severely restricted, so we are pleased that the Entain Foundation’s funding of the programme is providing opportunities for the nation’s brightest sporting talent to realise their full potential.

Meeting the Highest Standards

Entain, one of the world’s largest sports-betting and gaming groups, operates both online and in the retail sector. The Group holds licences in over 20 jurisdictions and employs more than 24,000 people in 20 offices across five continents. The Group owns a comprehensive portfolio of established brands including bwin, Coral and Ladbrokes.

The Group owns proprietary technology across all of its core product verticals and, in addition to its B2C operations, provides services to third-party customers on a B2B basis. The Group aims to meet the highest standards, from the way it runs its business and manages its financial affairs, to how it supports its people, its customers and the communities it works in.

The Group has developed a CSR strategy based on three pillars for its business: providing Responsible Gambling opportunities, being a Responsible Employer, and enabling a positive impact on its communities and in the markets it serves - Responsible Communities & Markets. The Group, headquartered in the Isle of Man, is a constituent of the FTSE 250 index.

Our Partnership

Entain provides young British athletes with financial support, recognition and personal development opportunities through its partnership with SportsAid. Each athlete receives an annual £1,000 award which contributes towards costs such as travel, accommodation and equipment. This year, Entain is helping 50 up-and-coming sports stars across 24 disabled and non-disabled disciplines.

The collaboration forms part of a multi-million pound investment made by Entain into grassroots, community and health project through its CSR programme. Entain recently established an independent Community Fund, run and administered by the UK Community Foundation, delivering small-scale grants to good causes in need of an injection of cash.

Our Impact

Entain and SportsAid funding has meant that I've been able to participate in more international competitions and it's helped me to buy new equipment. It's made me feel that other people believe in me and that they can see me going far. It's just great to get that recognition.
